Clothes Press of solid cheery with hand made solid brass hardware. The upper section has four pull out shelves for folded clothing while the lower section has four full depth drawers. The secondary wood used on this piece is hard maple. The press is finished in natural colors with multiple coats of hand rubbed oil.

This style of cabinet can easily be adapted to serve as a home entertainment unit housing both audio and visual equipment for a family room or both equipment and personal items for a bed room.

Pieces of this type historically were produced of two or more wood types. The primary wood(s) where those displayed while internal structures, draw sides, and bottoms were constructed form less costly secondary woods. The choice of secondary woods varied with the region or area in which the pieces was constructed. This piece however has a more costly secondary wood for longevity and beauty.
